Tracer IV Measurement Software
Tracer is a powerful and easy to use software solution for measuring solar cell devices. Besides standard solar cell parameters as short circuit current (Isc), open voltage (Voc), Fill Factor (FF), and Efficiency (eta), more detailed information is required. Tracer will allow the user to add a model of the solar cell material used, and it will fit the data to this model. Using this method precise values for series resistance (Rs), shunt resistance (Rshunt), dark current (Io1, Io2) and ideality factor (n) can be obtained.

Pictured above is an Abet Technologies 1kW 8 x 8 inch (20 x 20 cm) horizontal output solar simulator. Typical output of these large area systems is greater than 1.3 AM1.5G suns.
Low Cost Solar Simulator
LS 150 Xe light source equipped with 90 degree beam turner and AM1.5G air mass filter.
For customers in a university or other laboratory that are new to solar research, working to reduce their cost and increase efficiency, or are developing new solar cell materials Abet is offering a low cost alternative to more expensive simulators based on it’s popular LS 150 xenon light source.
